{"id":16200,"date":"2024-12-17T20:27:14","date_gmt":"2024-12-17T20:27:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/each.ut.ee\/EACH\/?page_id=16200"},"modified":"2025-12-15T12:02:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T12:02:47","slug":"our-courses","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/each.ut.ee\/EACH\/our-courses\/","title":{"rendered":"Our courses"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We offer two annual <strong>continuing education courses<\/strong> and two <strong>MOOCs<\/strong> (Massive Open Online Course).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-649f0d0aeceb499a201dd3b446dbd1ff\"><strong>Continuing education courses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer two continuing education courses \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/ois2.ut.ee\/#\/trainings\/LTKT.TK.032\/details\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Metrology in Chemistry<\/a> course and <a href=\"https:\/\/ois2.ut.ee\/#\/trainings\/LTKT.TK.009\/details\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry <\/a>course. Both courses run online in the UT Moodle environment. The lectures are recorded, so that you can participate in them at a time that suits you the most. However, you must keep up with the course deadlines and timing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To attend the course(s), you need to register to the course(s) via the link(s) below. After registration, you will obtain access to the course\u2019s Moodle environment where you can find study materials, lecture recordings, tests and forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both continuing education courses are <strong>free of charge for all attendees from our partner universities and associated partners<\/strong>. Both MOOCs run in the&nbsp;UT Moodle environment. You can have a preview of the MOOCs in Moodle environment as a guest without registration. Under the section \u201cCourse introduction\u201d you will find detailed information about the courses\u2019 organisation, graded tests, formation of the grade and awarding of the certificate. Guest access also allows you to view the course contents in Moodle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The offered MOOCs are <strong>free of charge to all participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-d93c8f056d446c2c3e0cd5831bf7757e\" style=\"color:#016b44;background-color:#00d1841a\"><strong>MOOC \u201eValidation of Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Methods\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MOOC runs from November\/December to February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This MOOC is a practice-oriented online course on validation of analytical methods, specifically using LC-MS as technique. The MOOC gives the main concepts and mathematical apparatus of measurement uncertainty estimation and introduces two principal approaches to measurement uncertainty estimation \u2013 the ISO GUM modelling approach (the \u201cbottom-up\u201d or modelling approach) and the single-lab validation approach as implemented by Nordtest (the \u201ctop-down\u201d or Nordtest approach).
