Throughout the event, participants attended insightful lectures, including a lecture on dissolved oxygen measurement with Dr. Irja Helm and a session on industry-oriented applications presented by experts from Axel\u2019One.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"349\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/each.ut.ee\/EACH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/250131_WS_water-measurements-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16344\" style=\"width:251px;height:auto\" srcset=\"http:\/\/each.ut.ee\/EACH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/250131_WS_water-measurements-1.jpg 349w, http:\/\/each.ut.ee\/EACH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/250131_WS_water-measurements-1-228x300.jpg 228w, http:\/\/each.ut.ee\/EACH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/250131_WS_water-measurements-1-114x150.jpg 114w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 349px) 100vw, 349px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Students measuring the dissolved oxygen in the lake K\u00e4\u00e4riku<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Students engaged in hands-on experimental work and collaborative data analysis on dissolved oxygen measurements, fostering teamwork and critical thinking. They used calibrated oxygen sensors to measure dissolved oxygen in the lake K\u00e4\u00e4riku and tap water. Later, they presented their results. These activities highlighted the importance of collaboration and communication in addressing analytical challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program also included informative sessions about the courses at the University of Tartu for 1<sup>st<\/sup> year students, second-year tracks, and career-focused discussions, such as a virtual employability Q&amp;A session, where students explored professional pathways with input from alumni who have pursued academic and industrial careers.
