Bonded in Tallinn

The day started quite early and was entertaining with a few people sprinting to catch the 8:00 AM bus. On September 19, EACH 2026 intake’s trip to Tallinn officially materialised. Led by the organising powers of Angel, budget-friendly suggestions of Assyl, and local knowledge of Rebeka, the imagined trip to Estonia’s capital finally became a reality.
The first stop was KUMU, donned in meaningful artworks ranging from paintings and sculptures to interactive exhibits. We walked our way to Kadriorg Park, then to the highlight of the trip, Tallinn’s Old Town. Looking around the cobblestone streets and century-old architecture, and taking group photos from one spot to another, the trip surely left a lasting impression on everyone.
Although it was only a day trip, it was a worthwhile bond (pun intended) with people who will spend the next 2 years together.
“The first few weeks in a new environment can be very gloomy and cold (more so in Estonia), but I’d say we’ve managed to warm up pretty well so far.” – Angel
