It’s been a semester since I enrolled. I’ve learned a lot of new things here. I’ve also realised that talking with teachers and classmates is actually a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Although I’ve only spent a quarter of my time in the program, I really want to say that it’s highly organised. From seminars to email notifications, it’s clear that the teachers are well-prepared and have considered all the problems we might encounter. Any exceptions are discussed and resolved very quickly. The teachers always give us the best recommendations, whether it’s about our studies or future planning. As the course progressed, I realised that my knowledge was still too shallow, but our teachers are patient. You will really feel their endless knowledge and their willingness to share it all with you.

I also want to thank Professor Ivo, especially. I think all the students here share the same sentiment: we really like Professor Ivo’s classes, and of course, there are many other teachers we like. But behind all this, I’m very grateful for Professor Ivo’s dedication to us and to the program. He always replies with a tone that is both approachable and gentle. During the recent Winter School, I had more opportunities to get to know our professors better. I saw that Professor Ivo was working on his computer whether he was on the bus or after his lunch. I also received several emails from him around 6 a.m. with a quite detailed explanation. These little things are proof of our professor’s dedication.
