About the EACH program – Quoc Huy Tran

Quoc: If I could go back in time, even a hundred times, I would still choose to apply to and pursue my Master’s degree with EACH. For me, the admission email to this program was like a key that opened the door to step out of my comfort zone as a pharmacist and immerse myself in advanced knowledge of analytical chemistry under the guidance of truly inspiring professors.

I will never forget the well-structured and insightful lectures and lab courses at the University of Tartu. They helped me build a strong foundation in analytical chemistry and gave me so many valuable perspectives that I hope to bring back and contribute to education in my home country one day. I am especially grateful to Prof. Ivo and Dr. Anu, who were always there for my cohort and me, offering timely support from our very first days in Tartu.

My journey at the University of Tartu and Uppsala University did not just deepen my knowledge. More importantly, it taught me the true value of teamwork in science: how people come together for a common goal, celebrate small wins, encourage one another through scientific challenges, and keep moving forward with academic humility.

EACH has been a beautiful piece of my career journey, and I will always treasure and be grateful for this experience. It has helped shape me into a better version of myself. Thank you for everything.
